Job Description


  • Guide and educate clients through the rental process, from initial inquiry to final follow-ups.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of the rental policies and processes.

  • Ensure proper customer care and ease of rental.

  • Maintain knowledge of up-to-date industry trends.


  1. Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  2. Correct customer complaints and concerns into a positive experience

  3. Solidify rapport with current customers to ensure repeat business or referrals

  4. Answer phones pleasantly and cheerfully

  5. Ensure customers are greeted in a warm and welcoming manner

  6. Answer and organize emails for efficiency and clarity

  7. Respond to customers online

  8. Take messages and pass them to the appropriate person and ensure receipt

  9. Gather, assemble, and process quote and order information

  10. Match rental items and services to customer requests

  11. Retrieve customer and order information quickly

  12. Understand and communicate processes and policies effectively to customers

  13. Ensure cleanliness and photo-quality organization of the front desk/showroom

  14. Review credit card and online payments to ensure collection within 15 days of delivery

  15. Assist with the Customer Pickup Door over lunch breaks or periods of busyness

  16. Recommend and make packages for frequently rented items

  17. Suggest new products to meet customer needs

  18. Suggest new business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance sales

  19. Maintain a steady book of business via organized and consistent client interaction

  20. Collaborate with Operations team to ensure complete and successful installations


Experience Required:

  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures

  • Word processing and/or business software experience

  • Skilled in the use of operating basic office equipment

  • Customer service skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Able to lift 50lbs

Experience Preferred:

  • Call center experience

  • Events-based experience

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred:

  • Some college

  • Degree in marketing, sales, or similar 

  • Certification in event rentals, or a similar field
