Q: What are your business hours? A: Herriott's showroom is open and ready to serve you Monday 8:00a - 5:00 p; Tuesday through Friday 9:00a - 5:00p, Saturday 9:00a - 1:00p or by appointment. Our showroom is closed on Sunday. Our private After Hours Emergency Line is available for clients as necessary. Please call 217-356-9713. Q: Where are you located? A: Herriott's is conveniently located at 2100 S. Neil St.; Champaign, Illinois. Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: Herriott's accepts - Cash, Personal & Company Checks, MasterCard, and Visa & Discover. Q: Do you require a security deposit when renting your equipment? A: Yes, we do. We require a $50.00 security deposit on most items rented. We do have a few pieces of rental equipment that we require a $100.00 security deposit on. Q: When do I need to pay for my rental items? A: Herriott's requires that all rental equipment and security deposits be paid for before or at the time of picking items up. Q: Can I have you deliver and pick-up my rental items? A: Yes, you can. "Door to Door" Delivery in Champaign-Urbana is a minimum charge of $70.00. Additional charges will be required if items are to be delivered other than "Door to Door". Delivery outside of Champaign-Urbana is a minimum charge of $5.75 per mile. Please call for exact quotes. Q: Can I have you set-up and teardown my rental items? A: Yes, you can. Herriott's is pleased to offer assistance with the set-up and teardown of the following types of equipment: Tables, Chairs, Trade Show Equipment, Linen Tablecloths & Linen Skirts. Rates for set-up and teardown service are based on the quantity and type of equipment. A standard set-up and teardown fee applies. Q: Do you require a deposit for renting a tent? A: Yes, we do. Herriott's requires a 50% deposit to reserve a tent for your event. Q: Do I need to return the rental items clean? A: We ask that all rental equipment, except linens, be rinsed of all food and liquids. Completely dry the rental equipment and kindly return the items to the crates and boxes in which they were rented to you in. Q: How far in advance should I place my order? A: To ensure equipment availability, we recommend that you place your order as soon as you have an event date and an approximate number of guests confirmed. Tent orders and orders that you would like to have Herriott's deliver and pick-up, need to be placed at least 7 days prior to the event. Q: Is there a minimum order required? A: No. We rent all of our rental equipment by each piece. No event is too small or too big; you decide how many of each piece you need. Q: How do I decide what size tent I need? A: We are happy to assist you in estimating the size of tent that you will need for your event. A rule of thumb is 10 square feet per person. Also remember that you need to allow room for everything else that you will need under the tent i.e. dance floor, buffet tables, D.J., Band etc. Q: Do your tents come with sidewall? A: Sidewall does not automatically come with a tent. We do offer sidewall to those who would like it at no additional cost. You are welcome to choose from solid, window or mesh. |
